Sales/Distribution Position
Wellington/Dufferin Counties (Orangeville Area) Bio-Ag Consultants & Distributors Inc Wellesley, Ontario Self-employed, Part-Time Position
Bio-Ag Consultants & Distributors Inc. is a leading Canadian agricultural manufacturer of GMO-free & drug-free livestock premixes and Probiotics. Bio-Ag is a company devoted to understanding and working with nature. Since our founding in 1982, our mission has been to produce and supply products and services that warrant and support true sustainable agriculture.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Distributor to service a small existing client base and develop new opportunities in Wellington/Dufferin Counties. The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter who is willing to learn and grow their business. This would start as a part-time position and could develop into a full-time opportunity over a couple of years.
Expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of and endorse Bio-Ag’s philosophy • Service and maintain a small existing client base • Actively pursue and develop new business • Appropriately manage on-site inventory in an approved storage facility • Accurately track orders and communicate in a timely manner with Bio-Ag staff • Educate and support clients as they pursue sustainable agriculture
• Attend trade shows and local events to promote and grow business • Follow requirements linked to CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) and
Organic status • Candidate needs access to a reliable vehicle in good repair to complete deliveries
Applicants for this position will need to demonstrate:
• Knowledge of the agricultural industry • Experience in sales and territory development • Practical knowledge of the Dairy industry • Strong communication skills - both written & verbal • Strong customer service skills • An ability to work independently and in an organized manner • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines • Must be comfortable lifting 25kg bags • Computer skills including Microsoft Office products would be an asset
Compensation
