"Open House" at Bio-Ag is an "Event"! Good food, conversationsÑa fun day for all, as you can see in the large section of the pictures for the day. For several years we have had a "Customer Appreciation Day", but this year, we made it an "Open House", to invite not only our customers but anyone interested in Bio-Ag Consultants & Distributors. This years menu included beef and pork on a bun, veggie munchies and yummm, organic Mapleton Ice-cream. All this was held outside under a large tent, to host all those who decided to attend. The children who attended had great fun playing games and of course, eating ice cream. Displays were in the tent, as well as in the warehouse/mixing area and folks were able to wander around and take it all in on a great, sunny day.
It is not all just fun and food of course. It is a good time to meet most of the staff and dealers of Bio-Ag and an excellent opportunity to educate yourself about the many products and services offered by Bio-Ag, that enhance the well-being and bottom line of your farm. Bio-Ag staff and dealers are on hand to answer questions and discuss the benefits and features of our products and services. We included in our Open House some of our suppliers and this year we had eight booths providing information and announcing new products, including our own Homeopathic Dairy Kit and a new animal housing hygiene product, StalosanâF.
Looking at the picture, across the bottom, from left to right, first is Ron Piett from AGRI-FOOD LABORATORIES, the lab which does most of our analysis of feed, soils, crops and water.
Under the FEED MOTHER EARTH.com banner is Shawn Waechter, the owner. He works hard to improve his business by educating the public about the benefits of natural products. We have information on his products that we distribute, found under Soil Amendments. (Click here) Next to him is our own Dana Eccleston McGregor, our Lab Technician from our own on site laboratory, newly opened. Dana takes care of the testing for mycotoxins and molds, in addition to Quality Control for Bio-Ag products.
Andrea Bender, the first on the top row left, is our receptionist. Andrea helps to keep things running smoothly in the office. Next are two co-workers, Ted Glauser and Mary Lou Shantz. Ted is one of Bio-AgÕs top sales people and Mary Lou takes care of all office duties of our subsidiary business, Intelligent 21st Century Nutrition. The last little picture on the top row is Ted answering a customer inquiry about our new product, "StalosanâF".
Altogether, it was a great day and if you missed it, weÕll see you next year, 2003.
